The Reedsport Memorial Weekend Committee invites everyone to join us for Meet, Greet, & Honor, an event to honor and recognize our veterans and active military.
Meet, Greet, & Honor will feature the Threadbare Quilters presenting Quilts of Honor to veterans, as well as patriotic youth performances by local children.
The Threadbare Quilters will present Quilts of Honor, which are handmade quilts given to veterans as a way to thank them for their service and sacrifice. The patriotic youth performances will showcase the talents of local children as they pay tribute to our country and those who have served it.
Youth Performers
We are seeking talented youth performers between the ages of 3 and 18 to showcase their love for our country through music, dance, or any other patriotic performance.
This is your chance to shine and show your community what you've got! Whether you're a solo act, a duet, or part of a group, we encourage you to apply for a spot in our talent show-style performance. This is an opportunity to showcase your talents in front of a live audience, including veterans and community leaders, as we honor those who have served our country.
The Meet, Greet, & Honor event will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at 4 pm, at Pacific Auditorium, with a rehearsal on Saturday May 27. The event will feature the Thread Bare Quilters, who will be presenting Quilts of Honor to our local veterans. These beautiful quilts represent our gratitude and appreciation for the service of our veterans, and we are proud to present them as a gesture of thanks.

Your name and age, parents name, email address, and phone number
A brief description of your performance (no longer than 100 words)
Any special requirements for your performance (e.g., audio equipment, props, etc.)
The deadline to apply is May 1, 2023, so don't wait too long to submit your application. We will notify selected performers by May 15, 2023.
